that's not a valid excuse though... conor got into the UFC after holloway and they are only a few years apart in age. i followed holloway in the lead up to him getting into the UFC. he was decently hyped here in hawaii, he beat a lot of veteran hawaiian MMA fighters and took the belt at X-1 at such a young age. holloway got thrown straight to a fight with pea-head and he got absolutely raped. he already had his "like 12 yrs old" fight with dustin. i would only go as far as to say conor and him fought during a steep incline in both of their careers, meaning they are both vastly better now.

That is such an awkward picture. Nasty af but there careers have gone vastly different directions.
