I think no matter who the new med/s will be merle will still get 99% of bets.
One way or the other I will be giving up much of my mediation load, perhaps even all of it eventually. I've been really busy lately, and mediating bets is becoming more and more difficult. I'm just getting burnt out on it in general anyway. Over time I've come to find out that the negative aspects of it far outweigh the positives.

Recently betting activity has been down in general though, so it hasn't actually been that bad for the past couple of months or so.

maybe you should pick a Perm Med (Like Stephan or monsta or wandering) and like 2 temp meds, who could eventually become perm, but could be used as back-ups in case one of the regular meds is unavailable

We've also seen an upswing in active bettors self mediating which is great :) Glad to see its catching on more. I've always tried to allow actives to self mediate even when I bet with them saying the loser can send to sort of encourage the trend.

Aside from doing a community service, what positives are there?

I had already thought of that..

I made a thread for it awhile back, but it just never took off...

I'll mediate as a service to the community if needed but I won't lie, I'm not terribly interested in doing it.

Yes, I recall... I believe you and Era had a conversation neither of you were interested or would be too biased... do you remember this?

There are a few users that I would refuse to mediate bets for, that's for certain. And yes, like I said I'm not really all that interested in doing mediation.

If it needs to be done and people want a safe way to bet, I'm willing to help out.
