Very nice explanation Merle
Thanks, I've felt compelled to give a more thorough explanation of this for quite some time, but I've explained it so many times to people via pm, that I kind of got burnt out on it, lol. I suppose I should have just done this to begin with.

I'll be making a v2.0 of this as well, I left out quite a few things.

Something I dislike how people are currently using bestfightodds.com it isnt really fair to pull the best average from all of those sites especially considering like 4-5 of them are incredible small, AND the odds are competed in a 1 vs 1 field for that parent site... (so the odds for 5 dimes have nothing to do with the odds for betus, so its unfair they are factored together)

I think it needs to be stressed that they should be looked at individually to make a comparative estimate, not to factor in a giant formula

My opinion though, in all honesty, the odds are hypothetical and change frequently

I have noticed this also. It seems like every site you check has different odds for each fight. I try to take the average of all sites when I do my odds for bets. But you make a strong point Zero

It's not reallly unfair, because if I'm actually going to place a cash bet with a bookie, the best odds I find on bestfightodds.com are the actual odds I'd be able to bet at, and like wise for those who are betting against my fighter's opponent. In using bestfightodds.com, all we're doing is applying this same reality to fg bets as well.

I must say that I agree with your self analysis. But at the same time, I am somewhat bewildered as to why you'd disclose such personal information, and out of context on top of it.

Yea, essentially the only way around this is to calculate the average of all the odds for each fight for each event. Personally, I don't want to do that...while I know it's frustrating, we simply can't force people to use one site. As we've said before, if the odds are not to someone's liking, then that user shouldn't accept the bet. :D

Perhaps you should re-analyze his self-analysis. Clearly he uses Jung as his premise and then follows with Freudian logic to support his theory. Not out of context at all, although I would venture to say that I agree it is perhaps a bit too much information.
