I'm still curious as to who the fight promotion company is.

There's a lot of smaller, dodgy companies out there, so what he's describing is plausible enough for me to think it's legit.

The reason I specifically mention smaller, dodgy promotion companies is because (to me) it sounds like they're trying to feed their fighter some unknown can off the streets.

(Again knox, no offense.)

HOLY FUCK this thread made me lol.

You are talking about going to the ufc and you are still inthe stage where your arms get tired from holding them up.

holy lolz.

on a serious note, hold 5lb weights and shadowbox for 5 min rounds punching non stop going through diff punches.

Ps. quit now. And i second boxa, ill spar you =D

From someone who actually fights..

The good news for you is not everyone is good who competes in these type of tournaments. And the better news is this kid has lost twice. I would say just jab a lot and throw power punches sparingly. Wtf else can you do, you have no training. And if you just got in randomly, then obviously the requirements aren't strict at all.

Other than that .. warm up properly so you are ready to go from the getgo and don't be afraid to clinch if you are getting destroyed. Inexperienced fighters (which this must be) tend to throw hard for the first few minutes then gas. Soooooo good luck man .. can't wait to see the vid lol.

Yea.. I was offered a trainer for ufc, i've been training for only a few days now, learned alot.. first hybrid match is this saturday against a guy with a 1-2-1 record.

So, the reason for posting this, Diso endurence exercises.. my shoulders die after only 2 min or so of hittin the bag hard.. iso something to build those up and possibly something to help with speed? (Not a huge deal, i'm going to take it to the ground) Ne mma tips u guys want to provide would be great.

My oppenent has about 4 inches on me in height.. and maybe 3 lbs over me.. He has a longer reach obv.. but i've been told im double if not triple his strength.. i know submissions well, so once i get him to the ground, my plan is to break his arm or put him to sleep..

Thanks.

e: they seem to like me, so they alrdy offered me a manager and everything.. thinking this is going to become my career.

Btw, the definition of a hybrid match, is kickboxing when standing.. but the second it hits the floor, its all grapling.

Here's a tip, don't train MMA. Train one style and become comfortable with it, then expand.

Okay, dude, because I like the sport (not always the fans lol <_<), I'll set differences aside, I'd like to see how it goes for a beginner. Not that I'm really considering it, but interested. LMK, and gl.

Yeaaa, they told me to go all grappling while i have the strength..

They want me down to 155 :( Cuz im 5'8, and most ppl 165-170 lbs or more are about 6ft, So i guess im going to be losing some muscle mass unfortunately.. Hopefully i can continue taking my whey

And still hit 155 with the strength i have now. (very doubtful) Dunno if i can carve 10 pounds of pure fat off my ass..
