My impression is that Khabib was acting from a place in the heart and he acted inappropriately because nationalistic and religious pride really shouldn't cause him to act out as he did. Should he have been pissed? Yes, definitely. But he didn't need to do what he did.

Conor cheated in the fight. He's lucky that Khabib didn't rip his head off.

Those people take religion serious dude. Dudes been in war for thousands of year because of it. And then you talk about his family on top of it? Khabib was just a ticking time bomb
