On February 8, 2016, Bryan announced his retirement on Twitter due to medical reasons.[292]This was later confirmed by WWE.com.

Wwe said they would never clear him nor would their doctors

WWE is kinda being scum.

They won't release him from his contract because he still has 2.5 years left on his contract, and the only way to complete the contract is if he competes for 2.5 years. So the guy cannot wrestle in another promotion if he even wanted to.
