You know this because you've been in TKD since 6 years old
We are all so impressed I can't even begin to explain
You can leave now and never come back, coach.

Na i didnt do it that long, TKD is ehhhh so many more effective techniques obvi.

I think its super important to do it when youre young though because its like 100x more difficult to learn how to throw kicks when your 21 vs 11... like its nearly impossible for someone in their 20s to ever really be that efficient in kicking techniques if their just starting IMO.

Unlike say boxing... you can start at a late age like Deontay Wilder and still do fine, something about your legs tho...

I'm about to be 20 and seem to be learning kicks rather quickly

Na you might be able to learn low kicks, or a decent head kick.

But you wont move as fluid, theres always this awkward mechanical movement when someone starts learning kicks at a matured age.

Unless your a super athlete I can bet your kicks arent very good, probably fairly telegraphed, and have mediocre power at best.

false again

technique can be taught, quite easily, athleticism has nothing to do with it, just hard work and repetition

when you see fluidity in strikes that's all hard work

i'm 23, ive been in thai boxing on and off since about 16 and i've seen 30 year olds come in with literally nothing and and right now they throw fluid, hard, fast kicks

anyone who trains can confirm these types of situations

haven't even read the Aztec's post yet so not going to weigh in on it, but MVP is right, in a lot of cases if you don't learn kicks when you are young you'll never get them right, whether its flexibility or not, its just so much different when you start young, so I will agree with him on that
