I think it's at 170 so he could fight Masvidal next with a win, but he'll be busy with Usman/Covington winner
If i was Masvidal i'd head hunt the winner of that as well. Or at least if Masvidal cares about being the best instead of having a few extra million.
But Masvidals coach has said they aren't tunneling onto a title shot and looking at super fights.
We're in the WWE era of MMA.
It's not that the fights are fake but they most definitely are staged.
Personally i agree with Felder's take on Conor fighting up.
If you move up to fight someone else while still holding a top 10 (worse top 5) position in a division then your move should come with a penalty.
How you can hold onto a top 5 position while focusing your attention on 170 is fucking stupid for the 155 division.
And its not like that division is lacking either. Guys like Dan Hooker would love to take a shot at rank 5 Donald Cerrone and maybe climb up to contention.

Lets be real though for a min.
Mcgregor had a hard time with the rank 9 welterweight twice.
He wants to fight a man who toyed with Diaz for 3 rounds before the doctor saved his career?
Conor doesn't belong even in the top 10 in welterweight. Any guy on that list could murder him.
He'd have a hard time with anyone in the top 5 of lightweight.
He'd have a hard time with top 4 in featherweight. Minus Aldo, of course.
I'm actually not even going to buy the Connor v Ceronne fight. I'm gonna bootleg it.
Normally i'd buy it but i'm tired of supporting this wwe cash mongering.
This sport used to be about who the greatest fighters in the world were.
Not who can entertain mouth breathing neckbeard casuals the most.
