I actually quit watching WWE for the first time. Haven't watched anything in the past several months except the Royal Rumble.
I watched all the intro videos for the rivalries so I knew what was going on and what the build-up was like :rofl:
Overall, better WM than I thought it'd be based on the card. Some more specific thoughts:
- Thought the Rusev / Cena match was the best one, although I skipped the ladder match. Don't mind Cena winning because it's the US Title and the rivalry should continue.
- Nice moment with DX / NWO. I thought it was going to be a clean match all the way through but it just ended up turning into a novelty act. But HHH winning... lolwat. I guess I should expect that kind of stuff from HHH.
- Undertaker match was predictable and sucked in general. Hopefully they find a way to officially retire him soon and put him in the HOF next year.
- Actually disappointed with Rollins coming out with the title. Don't mind Rollins, but I kind of wish Lesnar would just hold onto it for a lot longer and then lose clean to someone in the future, which would make it a huge deal. At least this way he doesn't look weak.
