Worst Road to WrestleMania in years...

Lesnar vs. Reigns (Main Event feud with Lesnar being absent most of the time and Reigns being far from accepted)
Sting vs. HHH (Main Event feud with Sting being absent most of the time and HHH being part of too many other stories)
Undertaker vs. Wyatt (Main Event feud with Undertaker being absent all of the time)
Rollins vs. Orton (Orton is not the "smartest" superstar in history, so him undermining Authority is crap... he should have lashed out at Rollins yesterday)
Bryan vs. Sheamus (we're 5 weeks away from WM and Bryan doesn't have a feud or an opponent; he's the most over superstar in years, yet doesn't do a thing except kiss Reign's ass to get him over)
Ziggler vs. Barrett vs. Ambrose vs. Truth (The worst booked IC champion in years vs. everyone who can beat him... why not include Sin Cara as well^^)
Stardust vs. Goldust (this could potentially be great; then again, it undercard stuff at best)

Except for the Battle Royal, the card looks strong on paper ImO. But 5 weeks away from WM they have managed to include a part-time wrestler in all of the Main Event feuds, making them boring in a way...

110% agree. The problem is they have screwed up the card so bad they have no choice but to ride it out. And the problem is the matches are kinda screwed up.

For instance:
If Wyatt wins, it doesn't develop his character and leaves him stuck
If Wyatt loses, hes buried by a no longer wrestling HoF'er

If Reigns win, hes Boo'd and will have to become Heel.
If Reigns loses, hes Boo'd and can continue as a Face, believe that.

Bryan vs Sheamus can only really be used to try and put Sheamus over as Bryan is already arguably the most popular Superstar.

Ziggler and Ambrose are screwed because of booking. Ambrose is stuck in mid card hell, and Reigns took all of Ziggler's momentum.

Rollins vs Orton could IMO be the best match of the evening. Both are exciting and pretty technical. I would imagine we will see a Rollins highlight reel from the top rope with Orton ultimately getting revenge, as Rollins won't be able to beat Face Orton.

Sting vs HHH is a match 5 years too late. Both well past their primes. I guess for nostalgia its ok. But HHH as nothing to gain, and Sting also has nothing to gain other than saying he wrestled at Wrestlemania. I imagine some stupid gimmick with power will be used.

Gold vs Star is good on paper. But people don't get behind them. I think Cody has real talent and plays the Stardust persona extremely well. Alas he has no choice but to lose so Golddust can "save" him.

You seem to also forget Rusev vs Cena in a submission match most likely. So LOLCENAWINS gets his belt and allows Rusev to go on to the upper tier.

And you still got the Uso, Cesaro / TK, Miz / Mizdow meltdown match. A 30 second Divas match thrown in, along with some Jobbers. Gotta get Kane / Show, Ryback / Rowan. Its just too much garbage.

Forgot Cena vs. Rusev... Rusev = next heel #1 contender for WWE championship ImO (even though Cena will beat him @WM).

Miz /Mizdow won't get a singles match at WM. Their final split will probably take place during the Memorial Battle Royal... Mizdow will eliminate Miz / Miz will take revenge and interfere etc.

Agreed, Rusev is IMO top 5 on the roster. He will get his shot for sure, I'm just afraid in the current WWE, once you go heel you become unable to win anything clean. It takes away alot from Rusev. Hell having him listed as still "undefeated" is bogus. Hes lost like 5 matches in a row by DQ or Count out sans Fastlane.

I think the point for undefeated for Rusev is that he isn't pinned or has submitted. I like rusev as a wrestler though and deserves a bigger role but that's my opinion.

Also why do people hate roman reigns? Sure he doesn't have mic skills and does anyone but Cena and rock, does anyone have good mic skills. His persona and style in the ring is like able unlike Cena and his uber limited moves.

The question is what will be left of Rusev once he is beaten (aka Wrestlemania vs. Cena) and once you take away the anti-American gimmick (or worse: take away Lana) from him... ImO he has all the potential for becoming a threat to any champion and a worthy champion himself. On the other hand, WWE's not exactly known to fare well with characters like his^^

Assuming that HHH, Taker and Sting will each get a long Special Entrance for WrestleMania, there doesn't seem to be much time left to include NXT superstars like HHH apparently had in mind at some point.
I think that sucks, because some kind of "Money-in-the-Bank"-Ladder Match (for a contract / promotion to the Main Roster) between the likes of Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Finn Balór, Adrian Neville, Itami, Breeze or Corbin would increase that card's quality a ton.

The problem with Rusev is sometimes the gimmick becomes larger than the wrestler. Rusev NEEDS to lose in order to move on, the undefeated thing keeps in stuck

Roman gets a lot of heat because he was pushed way to hard. Jammed down your throat whether you like him or not. And having Bryan come back and still be WAY OVER makes Roman really look bad. A lot of the heat is from DB lovers but a lot of it is more at the writers and the WWE in general, hes just the medium to get it across.



I think the Russian gimmick isn't going to change. It allows him to always be heel even if he gets over. Always put good ole 'murica vs Russia in a pinch to spice up the storyline. I agree though, he is a legitimate title contender IMO also. Once I'm on my lunch break ill take a look at what I think the card looks like. And as much as I love me some NXT, Sami and maybe Neville are the only ones ready to crack the roster.

Balor will be the first to win a championship. He's got it all and is mainstream-compatible to the point where his entrance alone could get him over and with paint etc. he could become the next Jeff Hardy ImO (ofc without the drugs and better in the ring^^).
Owens and Zayn could be legitimate contenders in the IC Division as well (Owens as WHC-contender later).
