if you can counter fast enough, that works too. that's what i was saying about picking shots with power. it doesn't need to be the lead hit, it can be the counter.






HUGE win by rose. ko by tap. joanna looked a bit shook on the way into the octagon and she looked slow inside the octagon. rose looked faster than ever and she clearly made gains in terms of cleaning up her shots and delivering them straighter and with more power. well done, the crazy win that just about everywhere had a weird feeling might happen ... came to being. just wow, even though i felt it was possible i was still shocked b/c joanna was such a heavy favourite. this is the worst i've seen joanna and BY FAR the best i've seen rose.

thompson striking first isnt scary, you can take his shots and counter them, you dont even have to avoid them

he's most dangerous off the counter

Just wow!

i think he hits so fast that he can set other stuff up, which is where i think his shots are at their best. i don't think he's super scary. i think guys need to go right at him and stop giving him so much space.

cormier isn't anyone's favourite but i have to admire his level of passion. he & rogan are actually an entertaining pair.
