saenchai would get bodied by USADA and conor
wut..? muay thai fighters, kickboxers, kyokushin karatekas have a lot better conditioning than mma fighters
those shots from connor would be nothing compared to the people that hit saenchai in his fights lol

another muy thai stiff bum with no head movement and footwork
have you actually seen saenchais fights? ;o

just the threat of a takedown makes the striking range and everything different.. that muay thai guy is way way way over confident he would get rekt hard by high school wrestlers.. he's living large in asia on the sauce lol
for example, tyrone spong is a kickboxer that KO's people regularly in kickboxing but he recently went to decision with a fat dad-bod mexican in an low-tier MMA organization.
this~
the fear of being taken down will make the stand up fighter hesitant to throw kicks/punches like they normally do under kickboxing rules
thats why whenever a kickboxer decides to transition to mma i dont think they will be as successful as many ppl think they will be

Andy Souwer knocked Carlos Condit out with leg kicks...
You don't run so well if you got a guy chopping those legs full force. ^_^
oh wow..i forgot that THAT even happened lol!
mma fighters arent used to taking shots that kickboxers do + the kickboxer would obviously kick harder so those leg kicks would start to hurt after a few

Then why don't they take over the mma world and make some real $?
cause most of them do it for the love of the sport
ppl like Simon Marcus even said in an interview, that they dont care if they get paid shit, since they are doing what they love

Well he's also not that experienced really.
Most top level kickboxers and muay thai guys got well over 100 fights.
Schilling is 18-7... and a lot of those wins are against no name Americans.
He has 1 good win basically, Artem Levin... who he then lost to in the rematch.
So.... yes, he is for sure not a proven top level kickboxer... they fed him some good results in Glory together with a few other Americans... that's all.
while this is somewhat true, like Joe Schilling.. hmm...in America hed be a top kickboxer but yea...if you compare him to other kickboxers he doesnt have nearly as many fights/experience
But just because you're good at Muay Thai or any form of kickboxing doesnt mean you will do well in MMA. They will never be able to hit as hard as theyd like to in MMA due to fear of takedowns
