If the fight was made, Conor's fans should pray that USADA or God himself steps in to save him from Saenchai, because that's his only chance in that fight.

Also, apparently Buakaw finally agreed to his first mma fight like a month ago lol, shouldn't have called him a dick I guess. He's fighting Yi Long in Kunlun fight, no date set tho

Oh great Muay Thai instantly translates into great MMA fighter. Must've forgotten....

Obv he'd demolish Conor in a Muay Thai fight but he'd want nothing to do with fighting Conor in his world.

muay thai doesn't "instantly translate into mma" because of ground game... Muay thai even has clinching, they invented most of the clinchwork you see in mma. Are you saying that Conor would take Saenchai down?

Muay Thai guys got crazy core strength and balance.

It should be real easy for them to get proper tdd with a bit of training (for single/double leg mostly... in the clinch they are fine already of course).

Muay thai is definitely the scariest martial art in regards of damage

I imagine good movement would stifle a lot of them though

Conor vs aldo being an example, not a very good one sadly since it ended so quickly.. but yeah

That muay thai style can get a tad dangerous in mma (aldo vs mendes) mendes tagged him hard quite a few times but isn't a good enough striker to put somebody like aldo out

As for the top of the line pure muay thai fighters it'd be pretty neat to see some transition into mma and make a name for themselves in the top 10 of the ufc
