He has been paid to fight in boxing matches sanctioned by state commissions as professional boxing bouts. He’s professional. Period.

Andy's profession was being a mixed martial artist. Andy is retired and boxing as a hobby, which he's luckily able to get paid for because of his mma accomplishments. That's like saying James toney was a professional mixed martial artist.

That's not a good example at all. They slated Toney up against someone on their way out of MMA (46 y/o Couture) and it was his only pro MMA fight period, Toney was 42 y/o at the time of that fight. When people talked about Silva vs. Paul, the public truly believed Silva would absolutely destroy Paul (based on his MMA accomplishments) so much that Silva was bet all the way up to almost a -200 favorite until it rationally came back down with sensible bettors. It seems the general public that hates Paul will clammer at any notion that he is garbage, and the next fighter they put up against him will "definitely smoke Paul" and then back peddle after the fight saying it was either staged or that said MMA fighter was over the hill (usually the latter). This was not Silva's first Pro Boxing Match and probably won't be his last. Silva is literally almost twice Paul's age, his fault for thinking he could either A ) Beat him or B ) Catch a fat cheque and not have people discredit him. He is definitely a professional boxer, whether he considers it a hobby or not.

Bo Nickal has zero professional MMA fights, because he hasn’t reached that level yet. He’s a lifelong champion and athlete. There are levels to this game.

Bo Nickal has 3 professional MMA fights on his record and 2 amateur MMA fights on his record.

e/ and Bo Nickal is going to get rekt by the wrong person. Him calling out Khamzat and Colby is cool and all, but if you've actually watched any of Bo's fights he is very green still and will be exposed soon enough. Even his fight where he got awarded a contract against Beard was sketchy and lucky. He probably still would have defeated Beard, but it was sloppy as hell and Beard's a straight can.

Silva was a -180 favorite at one point, almost 2 to 1. Smart people slammed the + Paul line. Your statement is whack.

exactly what im saying u dunce, if this wasnt a fuckin circus arent anderson would be a HEAVY favorite, anyone who has a sliver of common sense (rare among anime/autistic d2jsp types, they tend to just overcomplicate really simple things) can see this is all more theater than actual combat

yes jake is young and on roids, but anderson + roids is roy jones level prime-ish

Anderson silva is not a professional boxer, he is a mixed martial artist. I don't understand what is so hard to grasp.

He is not a mixed martial artist, he retired from MMA. I don't understand what is so hard to grasp.
