i saw ggg win 4 rounds in the first half of the fight and 3 in the 2nd half

Landing a baby jab is not convincing judges.

That's a good 80% of what GGG landed.

Canelo worked the shit out of his body. Pressured him nonstop. Was the aggressor for 11/12 rounds.

He took the fight to GGG and earned that victory

are you just counting jabs or something?

the striking was the same as the first fight (canelo landing more power shots, GGG landing more total punches) EXCEPT ring control/pressure was in canelo's favor this time

therefore the decision goes to him

seems like Canelo's chin won it for him

what happened in the 1st fight
ggg was the agressor while canelo was the counter fighter
ggg was the counter fighter in the first half and the agressor in the second half
he rocked canelo twice in the last 6 rounds

landing 1 good shot in a round vs landing 15 jabs in a round on your opponent. its easy to know who won the round

GGG was the aggressor for round 11 for about a minute.

and canelo thrown 4 extra power shots in the 1st fight

It's also funny how people are trying to use the excuse about how Canelo deserved it for coming forward and being the aggressor, but that's exactly what GGG did in the first fight and he was still robbed.

Canelo's body punches were often grazing and weren't having any effect, but Max Kellerman's commentary probably fooled a lot of people into thinking it was.

The sport made sure to protect their financial interests in the younger fighter.

GGG won both fights by a small margin. 8 years older and still backs Canelo down in the second half of fight, hurting him on multiple occasions and tearing his face up.

Canelo landed at a higher percentage. Just cause you throw out a jab that doesn't connect doesn't make you the aggressor while your backing away from canelo

landed at a higher percentage. so i hit you more during a fight you win because you have a better accuracy?
canelo being the aggressor during the 6 first rounds but tasting more shots. Commentators (including roy jones jr) says gena must be the agressor
he does that starting from the 6th round by being more aggressive, going with combinations, outstriking canelo and rocking him twice

ill rewatch for sure the fight but atm with what i saw. I saw gena winning this fight (BY A CLOSE MARGAIN)
im more pissed by the fact that canelo got 2 favorable decisions in the 2 fights tbh
