Just a question, but do you ever do legs? It seems like you always post chest/bicep or back/tricep. xD

Just a question, but did you even read the thread?

I posted on January 11th and 14th that I did legs.

I do every muscle twice a week.

Legs/Shoulders
Back/Tri
Chest/Bi
Legs/Shoulders
Back/Tri
Chest/Bi
Off

Repeat

Went to 1 hour kickboxing tonight, had a good class, worked hard. Have to head to work now. Ugh I hate nights.

what do you do for flexibility and whatnot for kickboxing? I've always wondered how people can even reach the head for headkicks and the higher up body kicks.

Form/Technique is most important I'd say.

I don't do a ton of special stretching, just normal leg/hamstring/quad stretches during my kickboxing classes and during my leg workouts.

Between every round at kickboxing class I'm the guy who is always stretching haha.

I am a firm believer of stretching during workouts as opposed to before.

ah yeah, makes sense, I've tried kicking that high before just for shits and giggles but most of the uncomfortability was from a tight groin, maybe I'll try it again soon.

Just google basic Muay Thai kicking form and you'll get it.

Its all about turning your foot over to open up your hips.

Good shit, bro. Do your best at what you love and success is likely to follow. You make me feel like a bum. I wrestled all through high school and assured myself I would stay in shape after graduation, but unfortunately I did not follow through on that. I wanna get off my ass, join an MMA/BJJ gym (since grappling is my particular strongpoint) and at the very least get into shape with consideration to compete coming after I'm somewhat conditioned.

Anyhoo... Best of luck, mate! I'm gonna go watch your youtube video now!

Thanks friend.

I was the exact opposite. Halo and M:TG dominated my life for like 7 years. I even had poor grades due to these things. The only team I was on was Badminton.

Now it seems like everything I want to do in life is physical, its weird.

Join a gym, see what you enjoy. I surprisingly hated stand up fighting for 4 months but loved grappling, now I am the polar opposite.

PS- That fight is an embarrassment I can't wait to do better next time.
