nice job, but his punches are wild :(

I don't understand why his opponent was lunging at him head first.....

It doesn't matter if this is an amateur fight or not....

His opponent must have some intelligence not to lead with his head.....Granted he was probably a bit disoriented from being hit.

And a lot of people have wild punches..it's a fact. It's sloppy, but it does the job (in some cases).

Apparently, you lack the intelligence to come up with an original insult, but you instead comment on my username which is referencing a song title.

@1GgNeXt1

Some of us actually train in martial arts...

You train in an art, not in fighting someone in an almost anything goes brawl.

I took Aiki Jujitsu but I wouldn't claim to know anything about legitimate fighting.

Edit: I bet the ground and pound he took did more than you think.

Any form of fighting is martial arts....

The first time the opponent charged in head first was around 1:56. Yes he was "trying" to close his distance and possibly trying to take him down, but he did it horribly.
I'm hardly trained in take downs and I know not to lead with the head that much.

Very few have hated on him. Most of us, several of us also fighting or training at the amateur level, have critiqued him but not insulted him.

@Mini - Your brother's second fight showed the same potential, but the hands need to come up a little bit higher still. His chin is fairly wide open, but he has heavy hands alongside solid striking. The grappling wasn't terrible, just something that he seemed uncomfortable transitioning to. Overall, good job by him.

Post a video of you fighting someone else in front of a thousand people and have it picked apart piece by piece. No one is perfect, people do their best and they are under extreme pressure.

Don't talk the talk until you've walked the walk.

Edit: Do you think you could beat my brother or the guy he beat?

He isn't comfortable on the ground yet for sure. He left himself open for some subs for sure. I think it might have been a plan keeping his hands a bit lower to encourage striking because he knew he had much better boxing than the other guy.

Thanks for the comment.

You're really going to argue with me? You have NO respect for martial arts....

I have 16 years under my belt, I wouldn't ever talk shit about your brother, or any other martial artist......

I complimented the fight....And with every compliment comes critcism. I was more critiquing your bothers opponent, but apparently you didn't get that message.

Your brother and I have very different fighting styles. He fights to win, which explains the wild punches. Punching wildly like that is actually very useful and VERY hard to defend.
Look at Chuck Lidell.....While I don't like him as a fighter, he is the king of wild "fury" punches and it works for him.

Your brother actually did really well with his ground game. That's pretty much all his opponent wanted to do, and he dominated him over it.

Don't even try to argue with me.....I didn't come into this thread being hostile, you're the one that brought the attitude.
