And yea yea yea styles make fights, mma math =/=, etc. But Glover was finding a lot of success vs Jiri in the standup, so at least in part it begs the question, did Glover degrade due to age/not take Hill seriously? Or is Hill actually legitimately champion caliber.
Whether it's he or Periera that win, really the winner of the next fight vs Ankalaev will show who will likely have some real staying power as LHW champ.
Glover's stand up is underrated, always had great striking but his chin was somewhat in question at times - he proved he still had it vs. Jiri and that was the fight of Glover's life big dog energy, became champ at 42 pretty dope.
Hill is definitely the goods, champ caliber? Maybe not, we're going to find out for sure @ 300.
