I ain't really a big hogan fan and yeah the man buried people and what not but the dude was super over and transcended the business. cena ain't done shit aside from make money he didn't break any ratings. people by into the super man character anyone with better talent can be booked like him and do the exact same shit. hogan brought millions into the product 2 different boom periods the 80's and the NWO in the 90's. They're lucky if raw can even get 4 million viewers anymore. if you combined raw and nitro ratings from back in the day over 10 million people watched wrestling on a monday night. Cena can't hold hogan's jock strap. He may be booked like hogan was in the 80's but he ain't done anywhere near the impact hogan did for wrestling. cena is only liked cause of the way he's booked. rock hogan and austin all broke records. rock had the highest rated segment back in 99. and austin sold more merch than cena has in his entire career despite being on top no where near as long as they put cena on us.

Cena is shit,he ain't a good wrestler, he's bad at cutting promos, bad at selling, a bad actor and most of my friends who used to watch wrestling all quit cause of cena and the product just stinks. I'm just a die hard fan who still keeps track despite it being bad.

he makes wrestling look more fake as fuck especially when he does that stupid ass 5 knuckle shuffle or the ''STF'' where his hands ain't even on the guys face. I'm a big MMA fan just as much as a wrestling fan but if soley MMA/Boxingonly fans/ or former wrestling fans like most of my friends now seen cena wrestle or cut a promo it would just make them shit more on wrestling.

plus hogan back then in the 80's was given ovations in arena's and was held on the level of mike tyson and michael jordan as house hold names. hogan is the reason there even is a cena now. hogan is the reason people got to watch wrestling cause he put it on the map so the man had his right to be booked the way he was. I wasn't alive in the 80's but I done my research cause I'm a big wrestling fan plus my family also been watching it for years even during bruno sammartino days. hogan was never booed out of every arena he went in aside from 95 because by then he became stale and the steroid scandals that surrounded him brought so much heat on the guy which is why he turned heel in 96 at bash at the beach.

sting and the NWO also got me into watching wrestling along with goldberg in 98 for WCW and Stone cold feuding with Mcmahon really got me hooked on the WWF. and the rock with his catchphrases and seeing mother fuckers get thrown on tacks and chairs to the head. I remember the rock smashing mick foley in the head 10 times with a chair. shit like that is what made me love wrestling more and more over the years.

the cena character has no swag what so ever and is just corny as fuck. I tolerated the thuganomics cena, wasn't really a fan of that shit but I didn't hate him then as bad as now and I hate him now cause he's been on top for way to long and he went totally opposite of that thuganomics shit which was at least tolerable and turned into barney the dinosaur basically lol

and I've never seen anyone pander and kiss the audience's ass for sympathay like Cena has. The man does it in like every promo. like how in the fuck does it enhance a feud? all it does is make me think cena keeps begging people not to boo his sorry ass. it's so pathetic and he leeches off every ''popular'' star like daniel bryan was and kisses his ass so the audience doesn't boo him in hopes of him getting cheered. he's done it so many times lol...


any where I'm done... done enough talking about wrestling for one night.

with that said if you like cena or the current wrestling scene good for you or anyone here who does. as for me I hate it period right now and hope it becomes decent again one day.

a lot of it isn't his fault though, rock and austin were so good because they had the freedom to be. It was a different time, you're right about most of the stuff you said but you cant blame cena. When they made the switch to "sports entertainment" they watered down promos and cut back on the violence.

At the moment the roster is extremely weak, and cena is to the wwe what super hero movies are to hollywood. Guaranteed money without the risk. They lost punk for the foreseeable future and bryan until hes healed, other than those two the rest of the talent isn't ready to carry the company. Reigns, rollins, wyatt, and ambrose are almost there but they are still either green on the mic or need more of a push. Other than cena they buried most of the "veteran" talent to the point cain, jericho, and ortan are all jokes. Undertakers dying irl and brock works 2-3 times a year. Idk what they are doing with rusef but having him demolish every big guy in the company isn't helping things. Hopefully they sign angle (he said he wants to come back) and they meet at wrestlemania.

I'm pretty sure cena isn't even supposed to be working right now and all of the angles he is doing were meant for bryan. Until he comes back they don't have someone to take his spot.

Missed the 3 weeks leading up to the ppv, the ppv, and everything after. Don't know what happened. Anything worth watching?

The PPV was decent but the raw's leading to it and after it have been uber garbage

The WWE is at it's worst than it's been in the last 4 years easy imo

Everything on TV is boring, mainly the storylines and how the show is structured that's boring...always DQ's finish everywhere...nothing on RAW ever happen and lesnar never show up
They LACK ALOT of star power...no d-bry, no cm punk, no hhh, no undertaker, no brock lesnar at all, no roman reigns, orton is doing nothing.., no batista, cena is doing his usual boring thing
They overuse the jobber corporate Kane every week...
You got a bunny wrestling in the ring and midgets every week

The RAW show mainly revolves around seth rollins...I like seth rollins but building a show around him doesn't make it entertaining, he's a "rookie" or high midcard if u prefer.. (for now)
RAW these days feels like a smackdown...and it's a bad thing

Smackdown has been completly unwatchable as well for the last few months, so I don't even bother anymore lol


I still watch raw cuz I love WWE and it's my life!! lol but as much of a fan I am I can't even sit through 3 hours...it's too painful so I record and skip thro all the shit even if I wanna force myself to watch all I can't

I watch raw in about 1 hour, because only 1/3 of the show is worth looking but that doesn't even mean it's good
and 1/7 of the show is good

and they might produce a decent show once a month

Yeah I was always skipping smack down and would watch raw the next day on fast forward to skip the crap. Why aren't reigns, lesnar, Orton doing anything? What happened to Ambrose?

I guess if you think about it. If it's at such a LOW point. It can only go up. Maybe the right guys will come back and save it. Maybe it will get edgier and more adult again. Obviously the pg shit has killed it. God I could only hope for attitude era part 2
