some questions: ( and please dont troll me )
WWE and WWF is mostly fake right? like the punches, the hard hits, and even who is the winner is pre-determined correct? ( i havent watched any of it since i was a kid )
if it is fake and pre-determined, why is it that there is so much hype, like for example, Brock Lesnar defeating undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania. i mean, journalists make it look like an epic victory, but if it was pre-determined and they made undertaker lose, what's all the epic hype about? i understand playing along with it, but this just puzzles me.
sorry if my questions dont make sense, it's been since my childhood since i watched any of it.
It's scripted, and yes some offense such as kicks and punches towards the heads are fake but most of the things they go through and do to each other are indeed real
The fact that it's pre-determined does not mean that everyone knows beforehand what happens. RAW (the monday night show) and PayPerViews are all live so it's rare that spoilers leak online.
The Brock Lesnar hype is mainly to draw UFC fans to check what he does now, just like the Rock and other movie stars use the hype to draw new audiences to the show. (and in return to have WWE fans check out movies starring the Rock for instance)
Look at it this way: Nobody can beat the Hulk in the Hulks own game, aka a fight in pure strength and power. (read: Undertaker at Wrestlemania)
So if a super villain came along and murdered the Hulk with ease, and in the next movie he murdered Iron Man also with ease (read: John Cena) , wouldn't you be eager to see the next Marvel movie starring that villain? Because now you no longer know if the good guys will win or not.
I know that's kind of a bad comparison but you get my point?

It's a drama soap opera for men and they want to draw attention to it any way they can and make everything seem like a big deal
