Lawler hits harder than hendricks too, gsp will crumble inside 3 rounds

GSP is a joke of a fighter. we all saw how mad mcgregor was when his fight went to decision.... GSP has to live with that x20 over his whole life now. it's so traumatic that he thinks he's being abducted by aliens. maybe if he finished a fight he could sleep at night

Yeah but you bring up one fight out of how many? How many elite lvl wrestlers did he make it seem like they had 0 experience wrestling.

He probably had a bad camp, wrong mind set approaching the fight etc etc. Hendricks had alot going for him, the only thing that is worrysome for that matchup considering takedowns is lawler is southpaw and insanely strong.

Rory also trains side by side with gsp and has really good wrestling.. he shot a few times on lawler and paid the price

If gsp gets any take downs he won't hold lawler down and he'll take more damage than he likes in the process

Lawler has head kicks, hard punches, great counters, and more importantly.. he doesn't stop, it doesn't matter if it's 30 seconds left of round 5 and he's tired af (like vs condit or hendricks) he doesn't slow down

Yeah but you can't go off that rory has decent wrestling and trains with GSP and use MMA math.

Either way don't see gsp taking lawler down on command, I'm sure he will at some points but he won't hold him down

You can't use gsp taking down kosch as an example that he'll take lawler down either

Styles make fights and lawler is an absolute nightmare for gsp

GSP rapes Lawler and everyone else in the welterweight division, even now. He'd slap rory around like a drunk stepfather, and rory is ranked #1

I know some of you are still in denial, but gsp clearly beat hendricks even when his heart wasn't in it and he was alluding to retiring through his entire camp. The same people who are saying that lawler would beat gsp are the people who were saying that Nick Diaz could beat gsp anywhere a few years ago.

GSP's retirement is a gift he gave to the entire welterweight division, because now, finally, they can dream of being a champion one day.

GSP:

left the sport right when the real drug testing started.

left the sport right when the division got strong.

left the sport right after his first controversial fight.

left the sport right before the match up with robbie lawler.

GSP:

left the sport after dominating people like BJ Penn and Matt Hughes and Carlos Condit and Johny Hendricks and Nick Diaz
