That's the idea, a game changer.

Dana has openly said many times in the past, even regarding McGregor that he would have to vacate the FW title to fight for the LW title. Now it's changed.

He never gave Hughes, Spider, BJ , Georges , Cruz hell even Aldo a chance to move up and hold 2 titles. Always was an immediate strip of one to chase the other.

e/ or down a weight class for GSP/Anderson.

BJ didn't have to vacate his title to fight George though, he came back to LW still champ

Anderson wasn't fighting for the title though. I'm almost positive BJ was.

I would LOVE to see McGregor fight a non title fight against Diaz at 155 and then Edgar at 145 then fight for the title at 155 to hold both. He could have it done by fall of this year and prove he's one of the best of all time. To me that path is the most interesting. I won't be hyped for RDA v Gregor if he goes right for it as much.

Don't feel like reading back but didn't guy say dana forced everybody to vacate their belt if they moved weight classes at all? Was just mentioning anderson put the 185 belt in hold for a bit to fight at 205 :p

Nah he was talking about title fights. Although I think if Anderson wasn't scared of Jones or Teammates with Machida he would have fought for the belt and been able to keep his other one anyway so dude was still just talking outta his ass.

What route do you as a McGregor fan want to see him go?

Diaz in April

RDA for ufc 200

Then Edgar sometime after that depending on how those fights go if he needs time

If he loses to diaz which I highly doubt then Edgar ufc 200

Although the diaz > edgar > rda doesn't sound bad either, but if he were to lose vs edgar the fight vs rda isn't going to happen or if it does it won't be as interesting
