WWE's website reports that Bad News Barrett underwent surgery today to repair his injured shoulder, suffered when he was thrown into the fan barrier by Jack Swagger on the June 27th SmackDown. The surgery was performed by Dr. Jeff Dugas in Birmingham, Alabama. WWE's Dr. Chris Amann said:

“Bad News Barrett underwent a ligament reconstruction in his shoulder, as well as a distal clavicle resection, where the end of the collar bone is shaved off. The operation went very well, he’s resting comfortably.”

Barrett is expected to be out for several months.



He was so over too, wouldn't be surprised if he was originally set to win the MITB.

Officially i watch MMA although i do watch some anime. Thats ok tho because MMA is obviously real and even in anime atleast the characters actually do hit and hurt their opponents.

rip emma. didn't think she had a chance with that stupid gimmick anyway.

That gimmick was super over in NXT though, of course they're gonna try it on the main show too.

Sucks about Emma, she was good in the ring. Hopefully she'll join another wrestling promotion that actually gives women a chance to wrestle and not be dramaqueens or barbiedolls every single week

TMZ reports that their WWE sources say "officials quickly realized they overreacted, because their action would open the floodgates to fire a gaggle of wrestlers for fighting outside the ring, DUI and all sorts of other misdeeds."

Aka WWE knew the shitstorm would get since no action was taken against Swagger/Santino/Cameron/etc
