Yea I understand the dislike for the women's fighting and I don't go out of my way to watch all female cards but to say you don't see the hype surrounding her is crazy. She did like 500k buys on that one card when she headlined it.That's nuts for a 135 pounder and she's a female 135.

What card was that?

and also you have to take into account that any time she has headlined/co main- the rest of the card is overly strong compared to other ones to compensate. she headlined ufc 157- buy rate 450k but it also had machida v henderson, faber on it, lawler.

the other headline was ufc 170 which had 340k. it had cormier, rory macdonald, maia

... So because she had strong undercards that totally negates the fact that she had top billing? That totally makes sense then. Not like fanboys across the nation said they wouldnt buy it because she had top billing and it still did 450k...

Barao Dillishaw did less than 250k buys.... Half of hers and he was one of the top 4 male fighters on the planet. With Cormier v henderson lawler v ellenberger right below that fight.

Johnsons numbers may have been around 100k buys.... They still claim hes the number 2 or 3 guy in the world and Rouseys did 4 times his? Rory v Woodley was on that card too.

i'm not saying it negates it, but it certainly is a factor. and im not talking about the udnercards, im talking about who else is on the main card with her. with many main cards, there are 2-3 big fights. with hers it seems they try and put that same amount- just bill her as the main. she still does attractive PPV numbers, it's just something to keep in mind.

Did you ignore the remainder of my post.... That Barao card was better than her first card that did double.

I do understand what you are saying though. It does factor in when she has number one contenders and great fights under her, but as of now she will outsell any small fighter if the card below them were the same.

And when I said undercard I meant the card under her not the actual undercard events. I say that in real life and cant get it through my retarded brain to just call it the card or main card.

I think women fights are boring and will never go out of my way to watch them, but that doesnt take away the fact that Rhonda Rousey is both a good fighter and GREAT for business.

Dana White ate his words about never allowing them in and hasnt looked back since. I recommend doing the same, because it doesnt look like they are going anywhere soon.

The debate started because i questioned the hype and money vs her getting ktfo. That i would be interested to hear what dw says.

Coming from an Era where gsp and Silva pulled 800k to a million every time, it's really depressing,
Even with the current saturation

yeah while they've expanded and succeeded with how many events they hold etc, it has definitely watered down every card.
