In terms of styles, the matchup favors conor due to the lack of head movement from cowboy. Conor will need to finish him in the first few rounds though imo, cus then cardio + leg kicks will play a larger factor. Cowboy is a rough matchup specifically for Khabib. Big LW with great TDD. Attacks subs off the back. Superior striking. Ability to time knees when Khabib changes levels.
That's kind of what I think as well. I saw Cowboy taking those hits from Alexander, and just imagined him taking those strikes from Conor instead. Besides the Khabib fight, Conor has usually always been pretty damn precise with his hits.
