i think most of the women's fights thus far in ufc have been better than vast majority of guy fights

lot of really good fights in invicta fc as well

whether people care or not is almost icing on the cake at this point- think of how much press and marketing the UFC has gotten from having rousey and a womens division compared to beforehand. at the very least her appearances on ESPN and any magazine shes been in have been good advertising

ronda gets casual fans watching/talking about ufc, at least that's what dana thinks. add in the fact that ronda will be appearing in some big movies soon and the potential fight with carano and dana see potential big ppv buys and mainstream attention
honestly dana does not really care what you a hc mma fan thinks cause you'll be watching no matter what in his opinion

and yeah like was said she is worth all the sponsorships she gets and than some

pettis getting whooped by gil. they probably wont give khabib the shot because he's one of the least marketable.

I personally cant judge the impact because I haven't watched much of the media around her... I sorta ignore the product, actually find DW quite annoying the way he is always trying to talk everything up... I get that he is a promoter and all. I think its going to be interesting when/ if she gets ktfo an aura thats building like how a lot watched GSP fights hoping he would finally get ko'd

Yea I understand the dislike for the women's fighting and I don't go out of my way to watch all female cards but to say you don't see the hype surrounding her is crazy. She did like 500k buys on that one card when she headlined it. That's nuts for a 135 pounder and she's a female 135.

I hear and see the hype, but im not trying to listen or watch it.



Idk i find it sloppy, think some of these divisions are premature... but the ufc had to so aomething to fill the contracts air time.

Especially considering the wave of injuries over the last 3 years.
