I think if Nick weathers the early storm Robbie wont be able to keep up with the volume of punches.. I so want to see this fight.

Robbie is definitely not the same fighter who fought Nick years ago but, he's chin is the same and we saw that vs Brown when he got clip in the first round. He won't stagger like that in front of Nick and not being finish. Nick would capitallize

Hendricks didnt put him to sleep.... I dont see Nick putting him to sleep either.

Nick Diaz most overrated fighter ever.

Hendricks had raw power and no volume lawlers chin didn't magically get 10x stronger, brown didn't show too much volume either nick will be throwing and landing twice as many strikes and be relentless with body shots and various combinations
The second nick rocks lawler he will swarm and never allow him to recover which will increase his chance of getting ko greatly

Nick needs 1-2 warm up fights though before he fights a top 5 guy



why's that? his style is dangerous for every single person in the WW division currently with GSP gone..
I see Hendricks / possibly condit / possibly lawler being only ones a big threat vs him in top 10 atm which hendricks is even a question mark because nick is so good off his back and we seen hendricks gas in round 4 / 5 vs gsp and lawler

i think he's far from the greatest fighter.. but best cardio in ufc, very good hands with vicious combos, never stops moving forward, dangerous off his back.. that's a very well rounded mixed martial artist my friend only thing he lacks is foot work and TDD

Oh, I dont know how the fight would end up, I just dont think he will sleep him. He may TKO him with a good flurry, but I dont see him going lights out the way he did in their first fight.

But at the same time I thought Lawler was a league ahead of Brown.... And I dont know if its because Brown is a lot better than I gave him credit for or if Lawler was off. Because if he looks like he did against Rory and Ellenberger I dont think Nick would pose a chance

Nick Diaz has a completely one dimensional style and that stuff doesn't fly anymore. He won't even change his game plan when he is getting smashed because he can't.

He lacks more than footwork/TDD.

Things he lacks-

He has no kicking ability actually he has no striking at all except for punches. His elbows are suspect and knees aren't really there.
He has no takedowns.
Hes weak in the clinch.
He has no explosiveness/athleticism in comparison to top 10 WW's.
As you said he lacks footwork and TDD as well.

Nick limits his own options and he has a very predictable game plan and as long as people don't play into it, he won't win.

I would bet money on Woodley or Brown to beat Nick. They just are much better fighters.

Since returning to the UFC Nick has done nothing, beating BJ is meaningless and GSP/Condit both handily crushed him.

Dana should have a signed a 1 fight contract and let him get cut after he gets run over by his next opponent.

Condit ran from him entire time and was a very close fight lol that's your definition of crushed? And gsp did that to many people I'd hope he can do to an unmotivated nick that was out for over a year lol

Woodley would get smashed, brown is a beast and that could easily be fight of century but nick would be too much for brown imo
