anyone who actualls analyzes Diaz's technical boxing skills will find so many holes and poor use. Especially his foot movement which is one of the most important things in all of boxing. Obviously Silva isn't 100% technical too, especially when he goes into hands down dodge mode- but you can still see the great footwork- and even in dodge mode he almost has an MMA adjusted shoulder roll that he uses. Diaz has great hands, but i just don't get how you can say silva's aren't better

when have you seen anderson punch someone in the body?? or throw a hook llol that shit is rare.... he uses kicks and knees(prob his best chance vs nick to clinch and tee off)

it wouldnt even be a contest in a pure boxing match, diaz > by alot.
now kickboxing anderson may be better, but with just hands it isnt even a fair comparison.
does anderson even have a ko with his hands? i know he has knockouts with feet knees and elbows, but has he ever even won a fight with his boxing? i know nick has.

he has a couple but they aren't typical boxing lol usually doing the moonwalk ect forrest kod w/ a jab

Silva's hands are double faster than Diaz hands. In boxing, if you are faster, normally you have the advantage. And Diaz doesn't have a good defence. He is wide open and his chin is his best shield. Cannot wait to see what he's gonna do when he'll get pepper in the face from Silva who has KO power in both hands

i remember bas rutten saying he loves nick diaz's defense. (a man who i would imagine knows his standup game)
he does keep his hands out, but he parrys/blocks alot of punches like that, and head kicks never seem to get through.
plus when you land more punches than anyone else your offense becomes defense.

Its called gangsta boxing style and Frank Shamrock also likes Diaz Boxing style, and its very good adapted to mma but if we talk about boxing sweet science, Nick is not very fast but he throw punches using combos which is very good compared with many fighters with their single shot. This said, Nick is known for recieving lots of shot during a fight. Having a good chin doesn't mean having a good defence. Vs a big Silva, Im not sure he'll survive. Id love to see a Diaz vs Hendricks just for the way he's gonna response to the hard hitting Big rigg
