Ronda was absolutely a superstar and ESPN is far better for the UFC than fox. They might not pay as much directly for the UFC rights as fox did but espn is the dream for any sport in the U.S.

The free publicity coming from all the ESPN shows hyping up big fights alone makes up for the fox deal. Hell they're still talking about the UFC on Fox's biggest sports shows like skip/shannon' s show.


Ronda was probably the first UFC star to get some attention by mainstream sports shows but conor is the first one with entire segments dedicated to him. Would've nvr dreamed mma would've came this far 10 years ago as a fan. Him and Ronda are definitely the only 2 mma fighters that could be considered household names but conor is by light years the biggest thing to happen to the UFC.
