Really? Thought it was pretty obviously going to be Valentina as soon as I heard 49.

imo u guys r kind of over reacting. she held onto her back but val was landing the strikes even from bad positions.

i'm not downplaying the importance of having dominant position but shes getting hit and not hitting her. just reality

Laying is one thing, but she was constantly going for chokes / putting her in danger

In two rounds. In the other, it was Valentina that made the submission attempt and did damage.

The 4th round is clearly the one that Val was doing damage while her back was taken.

I will never say I know scoring, but I thought it could be 3-0 or 2-1 Santos going into champion rounds, and that's when Santos was fighting with 1 eye
