In the era we know more about, I'd say that the GOAT contenders are probably (in no particular order):

Royce Gracie
GSP
Silva
Matt Hughes (he looked dominant before GSP took him down, and he had a ton of pro wins)
Cruz (he was spectacular for a while)
Mighty Mouse
Fedor (he didn't see his prime in the UFC)
Bas Rutten (dominated Pancrase)
Probably some sort of Nogueira lol
And maybe Conor because he has some losses but he's had some serious opponents

I'm leaving Jones out due to getting *caught* on roids twice. Same for Reem.


Overeem is no where near GOAT. And by that stat Anderson should be off the list as well.

Royce Gracie should be at the top of everyone’s lists. Hard to top beating three much heavier opponents in the same evening. “But MMA has evolved!” And that’s thanks to guys like him. Royce may not even be the best Gracie, but he deserves the MMA GoaT status.

royce was only great for like 2 years of time.. not all time lol. i have utmost respect for pioneers of the sport but he's not really even in the conversation. and by the logic above he's void as well

yes, i have wikipedia too, might i remind you kron still has 10+ years in the sport and isnt retiring at the ripe age of 32 like somebody else we know (here's a hint: the guy you bet AGAINST and now are jocking...lol)
