Your comment about him managing his career better than anyone seems to forget the fact that he's retired.
There are active fighters currently with overall better careers where it matters.
As well as, some fighters who had ok fighting careers but continued in mma through gym/coaching/cornering etc
In your extremely narrow minded view of what a "proper 12" career should look like, sure; like a viral internet craze he came and went.
Donald Ceronne has done a better job managing his life and career than Conor McGregor.
