The thing to me, isn't the fact that bryan didn't win...
it's these
1- bryan didn't win vs bray 1v1
2- bryan WASN'T even in the rumble
3- Batista was way too high of an entry...makes you want to boo him even more because he didn't have to do shit to win...batista is always 25+ in rumbles that Iv noticed
4- Batista doesn't even look the same as he used to 4 years ago...he's not even intimidating anymore...compared to reigns, batista looked like an old dude trying to look young with his red attires
5- I was cheering for reigns at the end
I like batista but his return is just rly bad booked...
hopefully he turns heel
agreed. i didn't mind much that db wasn't in the rumble cus he already wrestled that night, but batista coming back and getting a free ticket to main event wrestlemania just rubs me the wrong way. he's no rock or stone cold... a B superstar in a B era getting treated like a legend.
HHH pushing all of his boys: new age outlaws, batista, nash showing up in the rumble again, etc...
this just reminds me so much of tna... ignoring your up and coming stars while sticking to the past and pushing old hags w/ no charisma.
i think if they didn't hype up batista a few weeks prior and just had him come back as a surprise to win the rumble, it wouldn't have been as bad as last night. seems like the wwe creative is devolving in front of our eyes, which i thought was already impossible with how bad they've been this whole decade(other than the punk era).
