i feel like mcgregor will have better command of range and movement though. His stance will leave his leg open but he won't just stand there and punch like mendez and he's quicker and more agile than lamas was when his legs were getting murdered. But he can still get caught and that shit is deadly especially since aldo sets them up well. Plus he's going into this fight knowing how deadly aldos low kicks are, and its easier to practice against aldo's style than it is to practice against mcgregor's. aldo won't be used to mcgregor's striking style, but mcgregor will be familiar with jose's. will be an interesting and fun fight imo.
