The champ who got a title shot for going 1-1 against a 155lber except the fights were held at 170lbs? Then didnt defend the title and instead got paid 100m to get toyed for 10 rounds by a defensive boxer who went full aggressive mode to prove a point?

He had a title shot before fighting nate the first time and then RDA pulled out and Conor took the fight with Nate late notice rather than waiting for his title shot.

Oh right he was gifted a championship fight against RDA even though he hadnt fought there at all. You're trying to say that because he took a short notice fight I should respect that?
Its his job. Its also his job to defend the title, he hasnt done that aspect of the job and until he does, to hell with him.

Edit: For the record, he sat on the FW throne for over 300 days and didnt defend that either . So saying that this is the reason he was gifted a lw title shot is complete nonsense.

Yea, I respect him for saving the card and not pulling out, for taking a late replacement fight that does nothing for him if he wins except raise his stock, when he could simply wait 3 months for his title shot and not take unnecessary risks.

Fighters sign a contract when a fight is announced to fight a specific person, if that person pulls out it is not their job to fight anyone last minute.


I see you focus on the fact he didnt defend his title only, rather than looking at the positives and everything he's done. Thats what haters do, even the fighters I dislike I can still appreciate the good aspects.

e/ he was scheduled to fight RDA 3 months after winning the FW title, not 300 days. come on man do some research.
