They want punk/bryan to team together since its both fan/internet fans favourites for a big PPV such as survivor series (where its mostly just traditionals tag team matches)

And also because bryan/orton been facing for 4-5 straight ppv in a row...they want some change and probably also finish the big show storyline in the meantime

He might be back in the title picture after that PPV or just win the royal rumble and win at wrestlemania. if by wrestlemania he hasn't won the championship...then I will say yes they dropped the ball with him

Bryan is the most over name in the company atm. They did this in less than a year.. That's a success story. He doesn't need to have the belt when he has every fan/face on the roster chanting his slogan. Same way punk can feud with whoever right now because hes so hot he doesn't need a belt to stay interesting. Now look at someone like Del Rio, that guy needs the belt or to be number 1 contender or he has nothing. If the fan favorites were champs there would be no intriguing non title matches.

Well put, they also need to push Bryan down a bit to see if he can maintain the popularity he has now. Everyone can get to the top but only a few can stay there. Look at Zack Ryder for example, he was extremely popular for 15 minute then everyone forgot about him. Same about Ziggler and his last run. Now they need to see if Bryan can KEEP his momentum as a top player on his own

Fans just happens to like Chanting "Yes" because its fun at the arena and they chant yes even for the big show...for delrio "SI SI SI" in mexican...for other wrestlers etc

I think it was the whole storyline with him and kane that got him over (anger management). And yes he is for sure gonna remain a big name, they turned Shawn Michaels special guest heel just for Danial Bryan's storyline lol. Not to mention Bryan is unique in his move set and his look, comparing him to ziggler is hard because to me I think ziggler is just a Billy Gun knockoff. And zack ryder is more of a jobber/comedic break than an up and comer. If he ever wins a big title it will be to turn someone else heel and he will lose it right away in some shitty fashion.

That new Kane looks interesting. But it makes me think of him as Isaac Yankem back in the mid 90s where he was more like a jobber.
I think it's time start a Best for Business corporation or something with Triple H, Stephanie, Orton, The Shield, Kane and eventually add more like Mark Henry, etc. Like only the best heel superstars.
