Have you ever entered a poker tourney? Do you know the long hours these competitors must endure to complete multiple days of elimination? Poker tourneys are extremely exhausting to the body and mind, and there is a great skill cap to it. Poker fits the definition of a sport perfectly.

mind? yes, but not body. i agree with skill, it takes tons of it, you need to be rock solid mentally as well. but not everything that require skill is a sport.

Taking an intense math exam can be both mentally and physically exausting as well, however, that fact does not justify labeling mathmatics as a sport.
