the UFC is fucking HUGE in Canada as well -- I know this and I don't even live in Canada. it's a growing sport across almost every nation, it has always been popular in Brazil, England, etc. Vitor Belfort is a fucking rockstar in Brazil, same with Akiyama in Japan.
The world is up for grabs. (I hate to say it but...) At this point in time nobody can compete with the UFC.
with a bit of efford they can create fanbases all over the world. But this cost time and money and a lot of efford. And might not be profitable (right away).
Whats holding the UFC in north america is the cost and logistic nightmare of expanding world wide. Although I expect an increase in abroad advantures.
