The PPV numbers for every UFC event, and every boxing event are listed on Wikipedia, a long with the gate totals. Events that happened fairly recently, such as UFC 135, take a few weeks for the total PPV numbers to come out, but go check every event UFC 134 and below and it'll show you the numbers a long with a source. What's fuckin' ridiculous is the UFC generates a lot of revenue; albeit, they need to spend a good amount of that on marketing to further grow the sport -- however, they only pay their fighters 5% of what the company makes. That's ridiculous, leagues like the NFL/NBA pay 45%(I know they're far more established, but there shouldn't be THAT big of a gap between what Zuffa pays its fighters and what the NBA/NFL pays). I'm not saying they should get paid nearly as much as NFL/NBA players, but they should pay their fighters 20-30% of their annual revenue imo. Some of these undercard fighters get paid 8k if they win. But, there are a lot of under the table bonuses given out in the UFC.

I don't it's just a dying sport unfortunately. I still watch any showtime or HBO boxing match whenever I see or know there's going to be one on, I just don't order PPV's anymore, I'd rather save the money and put it towards a UFC event.

No, that's EXACTLY why the UFC is successful. North America is the big money market. If you can thrive here, you can succeed.

PRIDE's refusal to legitimize itself and adhere to North American regulatory bodies held MMA back for years. The UFC tapped into those markets and made MMA what it is today.

the UFC is fucking HUGE in Canada as well -- I know this and I don't even live in Canada. it's a growing sport across almost every nation, it has always been popular in Brazil, England, etc. Vitor Belfort is a fucking rockstar in Brazil, same with Akiyama in Japan.
