he had amateur fights bro.... and top of the line training/sparring before ever hitting the TUF house. if you gave some of those poor kids in brazil the type of training he was getting, or those kids who get drafted to the NBA straight out of high school, the UFC would be far advanced.

he ain't fresh. he just had an easier path to the UFC and same for brock. when they get real oponents, they get KTFO.
brock got raped by cain, and spanked into retirement by reem and if he fought JDS, it would be hard to watch because of the brutality.
same for mitrione. im sorry if you cant hang in at least the top 15-20, there is no reason for the UFC to keep you. brock realized he wasn't ready for the position he was in. that happened because they let him fight Mir who is well known because he has been fighting since dinosaurs but has a glass chin in HW which is automatic canness and decided he was ready for a title shot against an old ass randy. bottom line is dana will always put hype first no matter what bullshit he tries to talk, and brock had the most. mitrione has 0 wins against real opponents and has had top level training from day 1.

But would GSP allow silva to strike with him? With carlos, he decided to stand and bang. With Diaz, it was instant takedown from round 1.

If shale could take Silva down when he wanted to, I would think GSP could do the same..and then it would turn into lay n pray for 25min -.-

Don't forget that Mitrione is batshit crazy. Did you see the TUF season he was apart of? He walked into the room and stated that he had "talked" to his wife and was ready for his fight, then when his coach asked "Wait, you got a phone call?" he responded, "No." and pointed to his head. Mitrione was fast as shit. That close in feint he threw before the knockdown was a flash. I can see him beat real compettion even though he looks like Mario when he's rocking his 'stache. Boy should really learn how to talk slow though...
