A lot of irony in this post, and unrelated metaphors that make ABSOLUTELY no sense.
Essentially what you're saying is the guys who fought more fights than Conor, while taking more damage and making a substantially lower amount of money managed their careers better? Interesting.
You and a lot of people seem to think title defenses are the only thing that matters, and the most important thing. If he defended his belt against 10+ bums would you still hold that same thought process?
Who cares that he dismantled Jose aldo with 1 punch, destroyed top tier fighters while making it look easy, put on exciting fights. none of that matters according to you guys because he "didnt defend a belt" lmao
Some backwards thinking. Conor managed his career better than anyone has in MMA.
Ask the fighters what they think matters.
Cause let’s be real here.
It sure don’t fucking matter what you think.
Or anyone here for that matter.
Just the fact that you think you speak for anyone other than yourself as to what constitutes a great, entertaining or bad fight. That’s where the weight of your words end.
2 simple facts.
If his career was centered around making money he failed. He is a broke peasant in relative terms when it comes to that.
If his career was centered around being the best fighter he could be, he failed at that too. He failed to conquer the greatest lightweight of all time (the true king of manlets)
And he failed to put away a stepping stone for his career on 2 weeks notice (during his prime)
He failed to reign for anything longer than GSPs middleweight career.
He also seems to fail at being a decent human being which is something beyond my ability to understand how anyone would ever help a narcissistic, annoying, funny about 50% of the time Manlet achieve any sort of success i life other than a casual sports fan looking to fill a niche with some sort of combat.
In any other discussion of the greatest athletes money and fame is always used as a very valuable and definitive measuring stick. /s
When you want to think of yourself as a true fan of mma you’ll look at his brief and modest career with honesty.
The only thing he was, and is good at doing. Is talking.
