What was so special about GSP? Really? I watched only Anderson Silva at the time of his reign. But from the little that I saw of him, I thought GSP was the most boring of fighters.

That makes sense but he was the best of his time. Imagine 50 years from now. The sport will develop greatly. We cannot even understand it yet.

Today's football teams, for example, would smash the teams of the 40's. There is no contest.

People will learn more and more about fighting, refine the techniques, improve nutrition and all kinds of exercises.

It will truly be exciting to see how the sport will be in a few decades, how amazing the fighters will be.

GSP transcended his sport. He brought the mma and combat sports at another level. like no one else did before, except Royce Gracie in the early 90's
What GSP represent for the mma is similar to what Wayne Gretzky is for the hockey, Mohamed Ali for boxing.
