He has one of the best striking defenses %'s in the whole UFC.... Please explain that.

I'll take Conor's chin over the guy thats went through all the wars in the octagon..

facial hair wont help against impact but it does help to reduce the occurrence of cuts

He fought cans. It isn't fair to compare somebody's striking defense like GSP vs somebody like Conor because the caliber of opponents they are facing are not even on the same playing field.

And I am not saying that his striking defense is bad... I am just saying that he has let strikes get through, and nobody he has fought hits like Aldo does. So it will be interesting to see how his chin holds up. The funnest thing about this matchup imo (aside from the media hilarity) is that I, along with most of you guys I'm sure, am eager to see how well Conor does when he actually fights somebody that is championship level. It is going to be a fun and interesting bout.

An unmotivated nick diaz hit gsp all day when fight was standing for only half the time, and hendricks straight lit him up

Condit also lit him up, gsp takes hits all day.. just doesn't seem like it because on ground most of the time

This is what confuses me about people? Why does everyone think aldo has power? He never finishes anybody....

Edit the only true UFC knockout finish he has is that knee vs chad mendes
