In fact, I challenge you to even provide one single link of me picking a fight with d2jsp staff. The fact of the matter is that some of my very best friends on this site have TT's, with one of them being a retired mod. So instead of making empty bullshit statements, why don't you provide a list of examples? Now remember, you said the whole MMA med team, and you used the word "always", so it should be very easy for you to provide examples for every member of the MMA med team. Get on your marks, get set.... Go!
Just the fact that you were compelled to state this, is strong evidence of your own insecurities, and low self esteem, because in reality, there's not one single person, on the med team or otherwise, who isn't aware of that fact. Were you honestly under the impression that there are those who thought differently?
My mediating of bets has nothing to do with power, or any type of self perception, in fact... How possibly could it? They're not even related. I mediate for one single reason, and that's out of concern for other people, because I don't like to see people get welched. It takes a high level of insecurity for a person to be able to interpret anything else out of that.
Regarding your quote specifically: No thinking needs to be done at all, it's simply immaturity that motivates people to behave in this manner. There's not even any argument about that. And if that's not true, give me even one example of a mature reason why someone would do this.
You should find it funny, but the reason why you should find it funny is because I gave that response jokingly, out of ligh hearted sarcasm. But an insecure person isn't able to clearly see honest jokes like that, because reality is blinded by their insecurities.
All in all, the truth of the matter is that we're no different, and don't do anything any different than anyone else on this site, it's only that in addition to that, we happen to mediate bets as well.
And no, my motivation isn't to make people look stupid... If I'm attacked, or someone calls me out, I simply defend myself, and this often results in an continued textual exchange, in which I further defend myself, and if this results in someone else looking stupid then so be it. That's an unitended consequence, not my motivation.
Certain people sure do have an odd mentality, and view on life.
