You said that Hominick "put a mollywhopping on him" in rounds 4-5 when in fact that fight should have been stopped on 3+ different occasions in the last two rounds because Hominick's life was in danger. Hominick ground and pounded him for the last two and a half minutes but never had him in trouble for even a second... plus you just said he's a defensive fighter but he's always throwing combinations. It's not like he Anderson Silva's people and just waits for them to make a mistake, after he starts striking he barely stops for a second until he eventually gasses. Doesn't he have the most total strikes thrown in his weightclass? Obviously helps that every one of his fights in the ufc has been a championship fight and most have gone the distance, but it still shows that he isn't just a defensive fighter

conor has the highest strike differential in the division. it is how many strikes he throws vs how many his opponent does. he outworks everyone that's why chad couldn't keep up with his pace. mcgregor's pace is more than frankie edgar FFS.

if you don't think that fight should have been stopped with how bad hominick looked you are crazy. He had a hematoma the size of a fucking grape fruit buldging from his head. If that thing would have burst he probably would have bled out.

It's really hard to compare mcgregor to people who have been fighting in wec and the ufc for over a decade... that is just stupid. Especially since the ufc seems to be including wec statistics into their totals now.

What records does aldo hold? How about holding the ufc belt since it was created? Fighting top competition and never being submitted nor ko'd. Fastest ko in the division... I am sure there are plenty more.
