I've been out of touch with the sport the last 5 years, thinking of coming back. What is people's problem with armbars lately? anything specific happened?
Edit: omg, if people getting injured from not tapping triggers people, they shouldn't be watching MMA. Restrict armbars, and leg locks are next, and then suddenly grappling becomes pointless since the only way to score points with takedowns is to stay on top and strike, or submit and you'd take away half of that. Before long the sport would devolve into kickboxing matches with takedowns when someone's geting overwhelmed just to reset the action then both get back to their feet.
I feel like we're transitioning into a world so allergic to violence, all combat sports will be deemed unacceptable.
It's biden supporters lol, if you wanna be a badass and not tap in an armbar position then that's the risk you run. It's part of the sport, you could see kevin was trying his best to avoid it until he had no choice but to do it.
