Are those 3 judges regular big fight judges?

I've never heard of any of them, but I don't follow Boxing regularly

Yes, they are among "the best in the business". But Byrd should be fired outright.

I watched the fight 2x now, and I still have it 8-4 Golvkin. If you take the control and aggression he displayed as well as the simple punch stats, esp. the jab, he should be well ahead. Canelo had a couple of very impressive rounds but he didn't control the action except in spurts at the center of the ring. Even then, he wasn't landing as much as he was throwing in terms of the power punches which themselves would be the only way the judges could score for him.

Byrd ruined the whole event.

Can a score be overturned if investigated by the boxing committee, or whoever is responsible for that shit?

Or is boxing too lost to the "riggedness" that it currently is in?

Looks like she's going to be scrutinised

Then no action will be taken and this shit will continue, welcome to boxing

It's not the first time she's done this either, she has a reputation for this. For now she has been stood down http://www.telegraph.co.uk/boxing/2017/09/17/judge-adalaide-byrd-stood-major-fights-scoring-ggg-draw-canelo/

When even Brendan Schaub can predict it you know it's the same predictable bogus shit https://youtu.be/dpuLT-ldISs?t=1h29m19s

Yep, when Shaub can predict the outcome ...

Alas, Atlas is dead on in his frustration. For those of us who have watched a lot of boxing (100s of fights+), it's beyond frustrating to see an outcome like this. Because you know it's either incompetence or corruption, and it's not incompetence.

@Marieusz: you may be right that no big action will be taken. I would say this: boxing will stay corrupt. But I think it's possible Byrd won't be brought back. This was a fight of the year type of match-up even if Floyd v Conor was a bigger draw. GGG v Canelo may have been the most anticipated true boxing match-up since ... probably Floyd v Pac. And it didn't disappoint, except for Byrd. I think boxing could make a statement with Byrd because they risk losing a segment of their audience. Core fans will stick around, but some peripheral and new fans could easily see how bad the fight was judged and just think "f*ck this, why should I even watch this sport?".

Boxing has been losing popularity and this fight along with the Conor v Floyd fight were a HUGE platform for attention. Conor v Floyd was weird but entertaining and I think fans and outsiders alike should be fine with it for what it was. But when people put down money (in various senses) for a fight like GGG v Canelo ... that's a royal piss-off.

I'm still a big fan of both boxing and MMA, but it hurts to see Byrd making such a pure, competitively brilliant individual sport look like a farce.

Yes, yet somehow not jailed. What I haven't heard is whether GGG plans to shoot for an overturn. Also, any news on whether Canelo has finally admitted defeat?
