I doubt they do him like that. He could have held onto it and just rode this out until he was year which could be 2 years.

Yeah, Dana and the UFC like Jiri a lot it seems. Jiri conducts himself with honor, a way of life not just a momentary belief. He did the right thing, not everything is about money in life. GG Jiri, keep winning in my life.

Glover is not happy with the UFC

Totally understand his position, but I get what the UFC brass chose to do. No interim, the next best 2 guys are fighting for the belt. Glover absolutely should get the winner, no real harm no foul at the end of the day.

Prize fighting is all about the money unless you're dumb and have a terrible manager. The ufc is only interested in fighters if they bring in money, nothing less should be expected of the fighters.

I saw somewhere that they offered Glover Ankalaev for the belt, but Glover had asked for mid January to prepare. Not sure if this story is true, sure more info will be coming out right away.

Blachowicz didn't even know he was fighting for the vacant belt, he was en-route from Warsaw and had no WiFi.

well did they do tex dirty. yes. but you cant pick and choose your opponents. he requested jan instead of the killer ankelev. hes old.

Fighters signed by the UFC are not obligated to accept every opponent. He could have said no just as easily as accepting.

I understand what glover was doing. He already beat Jan and felt he could beat him again so he chose this route to go but the UFC wasn't going to let that happen. All in all I like the new main event. Glover will face whoever wins probably by mid year next year.
