Yessirrrr. Dude is no champion, in any way.

I figured when he moved up to LW he would be past this but I suppose not.

Charles Oliveira.....that's wild. First time in UFC history that a champion has lost their belt after stepping on the scale and missing the weight limit.

These guys and gals in the UFC know their bodies too well for that to happen. For example, Uncle DC said once that he drank 1 Gatorade during a cut weight day and it fucked him, just couldn't shed enough water because of the electrolytes. So he knew not to touch it ever again during cut.

That being said, it is obvious my stance regarding the claim of the scales being off. Being of proper weight is huge in the UFC, I doubt they were tampered with or were out of calibration, especially on weigh in day. Just seems like a wild accusation, and like ol' saying says "extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof". I think the should have proven the scales were out.

Yes. And for the fighters that made perfect weight, did they technically come in under .5lb? The whole idea that the scale was tampered with or not calibrated properly is just foolish IMO.

Was every other fighter exactly on target? Dana said something in the post fight about having security guards watching the scales so that made me suspect there was credence to it, but I didn't even consider that the same scale is used for every fighter and that if everyone else was exactly on target that pretty much refutes improperly calibrated scale.
