I thought for sure that his fight vs ellenberger was gonna result in the loser getting cut.

And I don't think Koscheck is hurting for money. Isn't he involved in real estate or something? I remember hearing about some stuff he was doing outside the octagon to make money. He is actually pretty business savvy.

Well in real estate, all your equity is tied up moving from one project to the next. Regardless he is what 39 or 40? Any extra money you can make before he retires is crucial. I'm not sure what his portfolio is but unless he has a lot of rental units he will have no standard/safe income par from fighting.

e/ It's hard for Dana to cut one of the original TUF fighters. The fighters from season 1 have a spot in his heart, they have a good relationship.
